Ok, seriously have to do this

Facebook is to blame that I found all my lost friends from Springport, MI, who now all ask me at the same time, what I've been doing the last few years. Well, here's the news. I graduated in 2006 and started studying Arts and Social Sciences with a specialisation in Media Culture in Maastricht, which is in Netherlands. Right now I am doing a study abroad in Madrid, Spain at the faculty of Fine Arts. This means I am only doing practical arts (which I am not really good at;-), but Erasmus students are seen as tourists anyways and the Spanish do not expect too much of us. Also they have a very chilled lifestyle, most people come to class tardy, like 15min or have an hour, and it's no problem, no one cares. In Maastricht they would send you home and mark you missing for the day, but not here. Madrid seems to sleep at daytime(they have a siesta here, which means the shops are closed from 14-17 o'clock), they are awake at night, starting with dinner at 10 or 11 o'clock and then going out drinking and partying, that is basically what MAdrid is known for, its great nightlife. Although it seems the people party all the time, having their first beer at midday(it's a common thing that the cafeteria sells drinks to the students, anything they want. And eventhough there are no smoking signs everywhere nobody cares, and they smoke anyways, anywhere. Wouldn't happen in Germany, we have a new law which prohibits smoking in restaurants, cafes, discos and the like, so we are catching up with Ireland and Italy.
So studying and living here is pretty cool, although very expensive, I pay 450€ for my room, which isn't really big. So I am glad that I found a job here, which is basically going to this family and talking with their kids in English, and they pay you 12€ per hour for this. So this is where I will be going now. Oh, yes, please tell me, if you'd like me to translate the former posts, or if I should just continue from here on.
